By booking our services, purchasing our décor packages, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing your order.
Overview
The Porch Next Door (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides seasonal porch, yard, and event décor design and setup services in the Columbus, Ohio area. Our services include delivery, on-site design, setup, and optional removal/disposal of seasonal décor. These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, bookings, and use of our website.
Booking and Payment
All bookings require full payment at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Prices listed on our website or quotes are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including unsafe property conditions or locations outside our delivery area.
Payments are non-refundable once décor materials have been purchased or your setup date is confirmed.
Cancelations and Rescheduling
Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 10 days prior to your scheduled setup may be eligible for a partial refund (less materials and processing fees). Cancellations within 10 days of the scheduled setup are non-refundable.
Rescheduling: We’ll do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, depending on material availability and scheduling capacity.
Weather Policy
Outdoor décor is subject to weather conditions. We take care to select durable, high-quality materials, but:
We are not responsible for damage caused by severe weather, animals, vandalism, or property interference.
In cases of extreme weather on your scheduled date, we may reschedule at our discretion.
Décor Lifespan
You are responsible for watering your plants! The Porch Next Door does not return to water your plants or tend to your display. We do offer removal and disposal as an optional add-on service.
Natural items such as pumpkins, flowers, and greenery have limited lifespans that vary depending on weather, care, and placement. We cannot guarantee how long live or organic décor will last once installed.
Setup and Removal
Standard packages include delivery and setup only.
Removal and disposal services are available as an add-on and must be booked in advance.
You agree to provide clear and safe access to your property for setup and removal.
Property Access and Liability
You grant permission for The Porch Next Door team to access your property for setup and removal as scheduled.
We are not responsible for damage caused by existing property conditions (e.g., unstable surfaces, water damage, pre-existing cracks, etc.).
You assume responsibility for ensuring pets and other obstacles are secured during installation.
Photography and Marketing
We may photograph finished displays for promotional use on our website and social media. If you do not wish your display to be photographed or shared, please let us know in writing before your setup date.
Refunds and Returns
Due to the custom and perishable nature of our décor items:
All sales are final once décor materials are ordered.
No returns or exchanges are accepted for live or seasonal items.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Porch Next Door shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including décor degradation, delays, or natural wear.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The revised version will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
